Condition: Overall good condition.  Please examine the accompanying photographs carefully. The book remains complete and entirely original, showing honest wear and age consistent with more than two centuries of preservation.  Soiling, wear, a few pages show light stains, some wormage here and there.  
 
An authentic original Edo Period shunga woodblock-printed picture book by the accomplished ukiyo-e artist Harukawa Goshichi (1776–1831), dating to approximately 1810.
 
A pupil of Harukawa Eizan and working within the refined artistic tradition established by Chōbunsai Eishi, Goshichi's surviving shunga books are considerably scarcer than those of many better-known ukiyo-e masters. 
 
Measures an impressive 22.5 × 15.5 cm when closed. 
 
There are 14 total colored shunga picture pages with the remaining pages being kanji text pages.
