Authentic Edo period original, Bunsei era, 6th year, 1823, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by TOYOKUNI I (1769-1825).  From his series, Kaichu kagami. 
Shunga picture measures 26.7 cm x 22 cm.  Very good colors and impressions.  Condition is fair+/decent with some wear and soiling, most notably at bottom corners.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
A very rare antique ghost-themed shunga and one of the best shunga artworks Toyokuni I ever produced!  In this second and final scene, the male lover embraces his female partner, postcoital, eys closed and ready for slumber, yet unable to realize all along he was sleeping with a skeleton/ghost and not a Japanese beauty as he initially believed so.
