Authentic Edo period original, c.1830, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by Kuniyoshi Utagawa (1797-1861).  Shunga picture measures approximately 22.1 cm x 27.6 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions!  Condition is decent with some wear and soiling, browning at bottom corners.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos provided.
 
A highly-detailed shunga woodblock print picture of some courtesans arrving at an establishment; a prelude to the next two more intimate shunga scenes.  Notice the bat-motif garment the courtesan at the genkan (entrance way) sports on her back.  This item actually appears in the following two shunga scenes, as well; although in those scenarios it serves as a type of tapestry adorning the room.
