A rare complete three-volume shunga book set by Utagawa Kunisada, one of the leading masters of the late Edo period and a central figure of the Utagawa school.
Koi no Yatsufuji is regarded as one of Kunisada’s most accomplished and visually refined shunga series, notable for its dynamic compositions, rich color, and high-quality deluxe printing, including mica (metallic pigments), bokashi shading, highly detailed hairlines, etc. Presented here in fully bound, complete form, this set offers the work as originally intended.
