Authentic Edo period original, c.1838, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by Kuniyoshi Utagawa (1797-1861).  From his shunga series, Edo nishiki-e azuma bunko (Edo Brocades, the Eastern Library).  Shunga picture measures approximately 24.4 cm x 30 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions, as well as deluxe printing techniques such as urushi-e (black lacquer), gauffrage, and mica (metallic pigments).  Condition is good with some minor wear and soiling, a stain on their privates' area, and a fainter one on the woman's face.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos provided.
 
A great-looking Japanese original shunga woodblock print by Kuniyoshi Utagawa!   A woman closes her eyes in an ecstatic moment of pleasure while mounting her husband.  Most of the encounters in this series are between husband and wife.
