Authentic Edo period original, c.1842, Japanese erotic art deluxe shunga woodblock print by Kunisada Utagawa (1786-1865).  From the shunga series, Shiki no sugatami  (Viewing Forms in the Four Seasons).  Shunga picture measures 22.2 cm x 27.7 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions!  Rich in colors, urushi-e (black lacquer), gauffrage (on the sakura [cherry blossoms]), and also gold & silver mica (metallic pigments).  Condition is very good with minimal wear and soiling.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
