Authentic & original Meiji period c.1890, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture and the original woodblock print case for the set by an anonymous artist.  Shunga woodblock print picture measures approximately 17.1 cm x 25.1 cm.  Fantastic colors and impressions!  Great use of some deluxe printing techniques: There is the use of urushi-e (black lacquer) to exemplify the hairlines, thus adding lustre to their beautiful and distinctive sheen.  Also bokashi shading to some of the garments and textiles in the picture.  Condition is great with minimal wear.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
