Authentic Meiji period, 1900, Japanese shunga erotic art woodblock print picture by Ikeda Terukata (1883-1921).  From the shunga series,  Kuni no sakae, which is based on Hokusai's shunga classic, Manpuku wagojin (Gods of Intercourse, 1820s)  Shunga picture measures 25.2 cm x 34.5 cm.  Great colors and impressions!  Good condition with some wear and soiling, light stains at top corners.  No backing.  Please refer to photos.   
Depcited in this Japanese erotic art shunga scene is Osane (the daughter of a rich merchant), the lone woman lying worn and exhausted against a tree after being raped by a group of men (not shown).  How she carries herself during this ordeal foreshadows her ultimately sorry demise, as the story goes.
