1900 - Tomioka Eisen - Shunga Woodblock Print - Harigata Dildo
Authentic & original Meiji period c.1900, Japanese shunga erotic art woodblock print picture by Tomioka Eisen (1864-1905). Measures approximately 14.8 cm x 20.8 cm. Fantastic colors and impressions! Great use of numerous deluxe printing techniques: There is the use of urushi-e (black lacquer) to exemplify the hairlines and black kimono in the background. Also bokashi shading (tonal gradation), and gofun (a pigment derived from the burning and grinding up of seashells) used here to amplify the woman's vaginal fluids. Condition is great with minimal wear, if any. No backing. Please see and judge from photos.
A young woman pleasures herself with a harigata (dildo), cumming extensively on her robes. Unbeknownst to her, an older male monk is spying on her all the while. Truly an exemplary piece of shunga artwork by one of the Meiji Period greats - Tomioka Eisen!
