Authentic Meiji period, c.1905, Japanese shunga erotic art woodblock print picture by Ikeda Terukata (1883-1921).  Picture measures  12.6 cm x 18.4 cm.  From his highly sought after series, Yakumo no chigiri (Poetic Intercourse).  Due to the popularity of his original Oban-sized shunga picture book of this series, these smaller versions were subsequently produced as a 12 leaflet set to meet the demand.  Publisher:  Wada Tokutaro. 
 
Excellent colors and impressions!  Superb printing with urushi-e (black lacquer; notably in the hair), and also bokashi shading.  Great condition with minimal wear.  No backing.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
Considered by many experts to be one of the finer picture from the shunga series, a young woman lies helplessly bound as her attacker lustfully assails her.
