Description: 100% genuine & authentic Japanese woodblock print picture book (e-hon) by Hokusai from 1836 absolutely loaded with fantastic samurai battle artwork! There are numerous battles between samuria, but also some versus giant monsters, such as oni (demons), a giant koi (carp), a giant snake (who actually seems to be revered by the praying samurai). Very good impressions. Condition is fair/decent with more wear to show at the front of the book. Aside from the soiling and wear throughout, several pictures have small amounts of ink markings.
